Colonnade

Five plain round columns under one flat beam, on two steps. No capitals, no fluting; just the rhythm of five uprights and the gaps between them.

The columns are the thinnest parts of anything we cast. They are solid and strong enough for normal handling, but lift the piece by the steps, not by the beam, and never by a single column.

Care. Dust with a dry soft brush or cloth. For a mark, use a barely damp cloth and let it dry fully before moving the piece. Keep it indoors and off anything that gets wet, and lift it by the body, not by a thin part. Full notes, including what to do about a chip, are on Care & Materials.
