Stair to Nowhere

Nine steps between two side walls, climbing to a small landing and stopping there. It is long rather than wide, so it suits a deep shelf or the corner of a desk.

Nine small treads mean nine small ledges for dust. A soft paintbrush clears them in a few seconds; a cloth will not reach into the corners.
